Cap Junky, the hype cross we grow in Florida
Some strains arrive with a reputation. Cap Junky, widely documented as the Alien Cookies x Kush Mints cross, is one of them, and rather than chase someone else's version, our Florida operation grows it in-house and lets the panels speak. It is one of the few strains we carry statewide in all four formats.
What it is
Cap Junky earned its name on the collaboration between two well-known breeding houses, and the cut we grow holds the shape that made it famous: a true hybrid that leans bright rather than heavy. Our current batch panels grade hybrid at their center with a minority reading indica-hybrid, which is exactly the spread you want from this genetic: present, but not a knockout.
What the current Florida panels show
The representative panel on our snapshot (a quarter-ounce flower batch packaged 2026-07-14, Cape Coral) tests 24.7% THC with 22.5 mg/g total terpenes, led by limonene at 0.47% with caryophyllene right behind at 0.44% and an unusually generous linalool at 0.37%. Statewide, flower batches run the low-to-mid 20s while the Medizin concentrate and vape lines carry the profile to roughly 80% THC.
Reading the profile
Limonene up front with linalool in the top three is a citrus-floral combination that reads cleaner than the gas-heavy crosses it competes with. If your care routine calls for a middle-of-the-spectrum option that does not commit to either pole, this is the panel shape to ask your budtender about. The five-class spectrum guide explains why we grade each batch from its own chemistry rather than its label.
